Lagoon 2010

Last Saturday we gathered up the kiddos and went to Lagoon with Logan and Hannah. Some would probably call us crazy for going there in 90 degree weather with a 5 week old but Bree and Spencer for that matter did really well. Here are a few pictures from our fun day...
Our first ride was on the train. Toot...Toot! For the most part we stayed in Kiddie Land for Kate. Here she is on the boat ride... and on the helicopter ride.
I spent most of the day with Bree, getting her out whenever we could find some shade.
Of course we had to get some ice-cream.
Kate's favorite ride was the Chinese Dragon rollercoaster. We went on it twice and she absolutely loved it! That's my kind of gal.
We went to Lagoon just the 4 of us and came home with 3 new friends. Spencer won Kate a stuffed animal cow and a little duck and Kate won herself a little monkey. That's when Spencer said, "now, that's my kind of gal".
Just as we were leaving we took a family picture. Looks pretty cool, huh? We also stopped into Lagoon-a-beach for a while where Kate splashed in the water to cool off and then played in the sand volley-ball courts for 20 minutes. It was such a great day. Kate loved every minute of it and has asked to go back about a hundred times since then. Thanks Cameron and Emily for the free tickets!

Bree's Blessing Day

Bree was blessed on Sunday June 20th. It was such a great day and Spencer did an awesome job. I was such a proud mama.
Most recent family picture - I'd have to say we're one good lookin' bunch! Mamoo and D-Bo with Bree on her special day Grandpa and Grandma with Bree
After the blessing we had everyone over for a little brunch. I was so grateful for all the love and support we received.

- D-Bo's story -
So my dad told us he wasn't going to be able to make it out for the blessing due to work needing him to stay in Florida. Both Spencer and I were totally bummed. Little did we know that my dad was playing us all. He had a load of cars out here and wanted to surprise us all by showing up unannounced. So the week before my dad left Florida for New York then came back to Florida and packed up for Utah. He pulled in around 9:30 pm where he made Spencer and I sneak him into our house and into our bathroom where he could shower and get all perdy'd up for my mom while she was getting ready for bed. His plan worked out pretty good because my mom was totally surprised. So now my dad's nick-named now is Mr. Sneaky Sneaky.

Growing

Today I took Bree and Kate for their well check-ups. Both are doing so good! Here on their stats...

Kate is 34 1/2 inches tall (5th percentile) and weighs 26.6 lbs (10th percentile). You might wonder if she is really growing? The answer is YES - little by little she is slowly moving up the growth chart and is on track to be the cutest little thing out there.

Bree is back to her exact birth weight of 8 lbs and 1 oz (50th percentile) but has grown an inch and is now 20 1/2 inches in length (75th percentile) and her head circumference is in the 25th percentile. However, they weighed her before she did a massive explosion all over the doctor and then when I was cleaning it up, round two hit and she got it all over my hand too.

Poor thing was pooped out - litterly, after such a big day out.

And look our garden is growing too! I swear each day I look at our garden the things have grown even more. It's so exciting and I can't wait to see and taste if what we are growing will even be eatable - I sure hope so!
