I just had to get a picture. Crossing my fingers this will become a habit.

Pool Day
Logan and Hannah invited us over for some swimming and a BBQ (which ended up being take-out from Wingers). We had a great time!
Pre-Parade Preview
We went to the Days of '47 Parade Floats Preview last night. It was a last minute decision but we had lot of fun. There were clowns, face-painting and other little things for the kids to do but the main part was checkin' out all the floats.
Kate was a little scared unsure of Bo-Bo the Clown but, who likes clowns anyway? Bree got a giraffe balloon and it popped about 3 seconds later.
Ta-Da!
The floats were on preview so that everyone could vote for their favorite. It was amazing! Most floats moved or had some kind of running water and were decorated to the very last detail. All of them were covered with sparkly papers and glitter, so naturally Kate loved them all. Kate even got to hop on one with little cars that were really moving.
There were floats that reminded us of people... Adam
And floats that were well.... kind of scary - just look at that girl's face!
But these were our favorites...
Kate picked this one out for 2 reasons....
1. It's a chocolate cake
2. It has PINK frosting
need I say more?
Spencer liked this one. The guy and the fish moved like he was really fishing. It was very accurate.
I went for more of the comical float. This one was full a all different animals singing like the Mo-Tab. You can't see it but, at the front was a singing hippo who's mouth moved like she was singing her solo.
In all reality they were all really good and it was hard to choose. A lot of hard work went into these floats and it sure paid off. It will be interesting to see which float wins. It was a lot of fun and the best part was that it was FREE. Gotta love that!

Bye Bye Fishies
Well today was a sad day because we took Kate's fish to my Uncle Raymond's pond to make friends with his other fish. Spencer had ** acidently** put a crack in the fish's bowl.
And just like that the fish were free and so were we. Hallelujah.

July 4th 2011
We started off this Independence Day with red white and blue star pancakes and eggs. Kate was really into the adding the food coloring into the batter and then left until it was all ready.
Later that day we went down to the Provo Freedom Days where we caught a few shows...
jumped in a bounce-house...
walked the grounds...
and saw some animals.
Then we came home to light off our fireworks.
It was another great 4th of July. I love this country so much. I love the freedoms I get to enjoy daily and what this nation was founded on. Hope we'll never stop celebrating this great day.
