Now that I can breath again I need to catch up on my blogging. First things first, Christmas Eve. We did something really wonderful this year with Spencer's work and some friends. Spencer's company, Orchard Medical Consulting has a case manager choose a family to donate money and ifts to each year. Spencer had a family that he was working with that could really benefit from some help for Christmas. We all chipped in some money to give an injured worker and his family a christmas they never saw coming. The family that was picked came from Africa and lived in very tight quarters here in Utah. They have seven children all under the age of 13. It was very humbling to see them and how speachless (not sure if it was because they couldn't speak english or if they were just in shock) they were as we brought in load after load of toys, clothes, games, electronics and good ole' money. Spencer's supervisor, Suzie Behm and her family donated tons of gifts and money. It was a great way to begin the Christmas holiday!
Then it was back up stairs and off to bed to await for the next morning. Stay tuned for more blogs soon to come all about our Christmas day and wonderful and crazy trip to California.
