Today was Pioneer Day. In Utah, Pioneer day is just as huge as the 4th of July. It basically celebrates the founding of Utah. Lehi's fire department fills the park with foam so we got to play in foam at the park and eat some watermelon. Kate was a little hesitant about all the people and the bubbles but Spencer dove right in. (My camera died right after these two pictures so I wasn't able to get any of Spencer. He was of course covered in foam. He actually ran really fast and dove head first smacking his face on the ground, giving himself a bloody nose.)
Later on that evening we headed over to our neighbors for a party. We ate roasted pig and other tasty treats. Then to end it all they put on a big fireworks show. We had such a great day!
