PaRtY!!!

Kate's been wanting to throw a party for sometime now.  There's no rhyme or reason but to just have her friends over for some cake and games.  The other day Kate was in Spencer's office busy working on a letter to her friend Alyssa.  She would come and ask Spencer how to spell a word here and there then put her letter in an envelope and asked Spencer if he would walk with her to Alyssa's house to put it in their mailbox.  The next day I got a text from Alyssa mom that Alyssa was so excited for the party tonight.  

WHAT?  

I went to ask spencer if he knew anything.  He put one and two together and called Alyssa's mom to clear things up and explain that there was no party and that he was sorry for not really being aware of what his little 4 year old was having him do.  She was fine but said how disappointed Alyssa would be because she couldn't stop talking about the party she was going to.  Spencer felt bad and after a bit he called back and told her the party was on and that we'd put on a little something for Kate and her friends.  Once Kate, who had forgotten about her little party invite, heard the news she was pumped and wanted to get ready for the party.  So her and I went out to get some balloons and things for the night.  We hurried and called some of Kate's other friends to come over too.  The party was a big hit and all the girls had fun.  We did a craft, decorated cupcakes, played games and danced.  Kate was glowing the whole night!  

Around 8:30 they all went home and with a quick clean up just like that it was done, a very impromptu PaRtY.
