Suds in the Tub

Bath time is always fun at our house.  And never does Bree bathe alone.  As soon as Kate hears the water running she is peeling her clothes off so she can get in.  It so fun to watch them play together.  Bree is a good sport about letting Kate wash her.  I love these girls!

Kate wanted her and Bree to be wearing hats.

Night at the Museum

Our local Museum put on a "Night at the Museum" just like the movie.  The different statues and models came to life.  They even had a T-Rex skeleton when you walked in.

Kate posing as a bug.  She was a grasshopper... obviously.
 On an African Safari
Curiosity + a not so well put together fake octopus = a sad faced girl and the octopus's arm broken.  Oops.
Diggin' for bones - maybe one day she'll be tall enough to reach the table with the other kids.
The Museum used to be the old jail house and it still has two jail cells for any wild and rowdy kids.  Kate decided to play the "I'm innocent I tell ya" card to get out but I knew better.
It was a very cute idea and we all had fun.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day
In the morning the girls got a little gift with toys and candy and a little teddy bear.
Heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast - Kates favorite part was doing the food coloring.
All dressed up for the day... how could you not fall in love with those faces?
 Flowers Daddy got his girls
Kate trying to wink like her clapper
Bree crawling towards me ... probably wanting to give me a kiss.
Ma-moo gave the girls some fun Valentine's Day goodies
The card from Ma-moo and D-Bo
There was lots of kissing goin' on all day...
And then I got to spend the evening with the love of my life!  We went out to dinner while Nicole watched the girls.  He's the best ever and I love him dearly.
All in all it was another great day sharing the love.
XOXO

First Tooth

This post is pass due but I couldn't really get a good picture until now anyway.  So without further adieu I would like to introduce little miss Bree's first tooth. (Raaaaw, the crowd goes wild)  It actually broke through at the end of January and since then her second bottom tooth has come out to play as well.
I'm sad to say that she is growing up and she often reminds me when I'm nursing her.  Ouch!

Super Bowl Weekend

SUPER BOWL XLV
This year it was the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. The Green Bay Packers.  Both teams have huge followings which made it fun while we watched the game.
Grandpa, Grandma, Cory and Becky came down on Friday for the super bowl.  Kate did her own hair for the arrival of our family from up north.  Isn't it just lovely?
That night they played a game of baseball with cards.  Kate loved it!
Spencer brought out his nerf gun and little miss Bree got caught in the cross-fire. Ok not really - Spencer just stuck it on her and we both know if she was shot right there it would have been by Terry - Spencer's not that accurate. :)
Just Look at that face... who wouldn't want to just kiss it all over?
Saturday we did some shopping and then lunch with Logan and Hannah.  Bree's favorite part was swinging with her daddy.
then again that night was another round of baseball.  Kate was doing really good this time. She kept on telling Cory she was going to win.
Sunday morning we were attacked with Steelers paraphernalia from our neighbors which Spencer quickly marked all over words like GAY, STUPID, and Stop Ben from going to Bars.  They even changed Spencer computer screen saver to a Steelers one.
But we had weapons of our own.... The two cutest Green Bay Cheerleaders EVER!!!
Kate did some awesome cheers for everyone just to get us all rawled up just before the game stared.
 Then we ate...
 The Green Bay Fans

  The whole Green Bay Group
And the Steelers Group...  nice backdrop, right?
Game plays and their reactions.... Green Bay almost fumbled - Phew!
And with the score ending up at Packers 31 and Steelers 25 the Green Bay Fans won!   Cory waited until the clock ran down to zero before he celebrated.  It was such a good game to watch and share with family and friends.
And last of all here's Bree saying Nener- nener - nener to all the Steeler fans!
Until next year... if there is any football :)
